How we began

Hi, I’m Jennifer. I am the mother of two miracles, and I have a pretty complicated life story. It began a few decades ago with unseen traumas. Traumas that manifested in my body and my mind – and showed up in my journey with perinatal depression and anxiety twice. Then in 2015 my daughter was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder that really flipped our life upside-down.

Propelled by my desire to be the best possible version of me in ridiculously hard spaces, I surrounded myself with a community of like hearts. Some on social media, some on ground, and many more in my Celebrate Recovery and 12-step groups.

There are a lot of us who are searching for the hands and heart of God in wilderness places and spaces, loves. In many churches, we’re slipping through the cracks… those of us on extra-challenging life paths. We cannot let one another slip through the cracks.

I’m forever thankful that it only took one text to two now-dear friends Maryann and Lisa (plus one email to our church) to find myself co-leading this group. The very community I needed… it came to life… and now, it gives life.

We are so glad you’re here!
